Following on from the success and critical acclaim of her Brit nominated album 'Hometime', Alison Moyet released her latest project on 6 September 2004. Produced and arranged by Academy Award winner Anne Dudley, 'Voice' is a selection of personal favorites by other composers.
'Voice', which features stunning renditions of 11 classic songs, entered the UK album charts at #7 and held off stiff competition from best-selling albums by Franz Ferdinand, Anastacia, Prodigy and The Streets.
On 22 November 2004 a 12-track version of 'Voice', including the bonus track 'Alfie', was released.
A live concert recording, based on Alison Moyet's sell-out 'One Blue Voice' tour, is scheduled for DVD release on 26 September 2005. The DVD was filmed on 6 June 2005 at The Hospital in Covent Garden, London.
Great news for fans in the United States! The 12-track version of 'Voice' is scheduled for CD release on 6 September 2005. Promotional appearances and 'One Blue Voice' DVD release date to be announced. Keep checking Alison Moyet Forums for updates!
